It is generally accepted that conodonts went extinct at the end of Triassic, but younger conodont fossils have been reported, and it becoming clear extinction occurred asynchronously across different regions. Although some reports post-Triassic disproven, Lower Jurassic found in Buda area Hungary Inuyama Japan. Here, we report discovery more Misikella posthernsteini above first occurrence typical radiolarian Pantanellium tanuens e, which not know from Kastuyama section, area, reaffirming authenticity conodonts. The survived into might be due to their remote locations relative Central Atlantic Magmatic Province, buffered them hypoxia ocean acidification.
